The aims of the undergraduate studies are:
- To develop students’ critical thinking
- To give students the opportunity to cooperate with each other, explore knowledge across disciplines and develop multicultural knowledge and acceptance of cultural differences
- To provide students with professional knowledge in preschool education in order to produce highly qualified Kindergarten/nursery teachers
More specifically, the undergraduate program of studies aims:
- To provide updated knowledge in education
- To develop students’ knowledge in the disciplines of contemporary preschool curricula
- To equip students with an understanding of children’s development and the role of their socio-cultural environment in their development
- To promote quality and effectiveness in education
- To promote basic and applied research in education
