Undergraduate Studies

The aims of the undergraduate studies are:

  • To develop students’ critical thinking
  • To give students the opportunity to cooperate with each other, explore knowledge across disciplines and develop multicultural knowledge and acceptance of cultural differences
  • To provide students with professional knowledge in preschool education in order to produce highly qualified Kindergarten/nursery teachers

More specifically, the undergraduate program of studies aims:

  • To provide updated knowledge in education
  • To develop students’ knowledge in the disciplines of contemporary preschool curricula
  • To equip students with an understanding of children’s development and the role of their socio-cultural environment in their development
  • To promote quality and effectiveness in education
  • To promote basic and applied research in education
